Mini Tennis Course

What is it?

·         Mini Tennis is the ideal way to introduce children to tennis and is recommended by the LTA.

·         It is played using small racquets and large balls.

·         It is a fun way to teach correct tennis strokes and is designed to lead on to the real thing.

What will the course cover?

·         This course covers all the key skills required to play tennis.

·         It also develops fitness, agility, hand to eye co-ordination, balance and movement.

What will the course lead onto?

• Once your child has developed their tennis skills, they can progress onto one of the variety of courses run at Darwen Tennis Club.

Beginners Tennis Course

Who is the course for?

o   For juniors who enjoy playing tennis but would like to improve.

What will the course cover?

o   This course covers all the key skills required to play tennis.

o   It will also develop the tactical, technical, and mental skills required to play tennis.

What will the course lead onto?

• There will be opportunities to play both singles and doubles matches against a range of opponents

Starting on Monday 5th July 2010

Time 4.45pm – 5.45pm

The Course will run for 3 weeks.

Cost of Course £12.00
